HARDY 'THE PERFECTION' PALAKONA' 8' 6" MATT FINISH TROUT FLY ROD

In very good condition and retaining its original matt finish. Complete with a smooth cork handle, agate butt and tip ring with low bell rings throughout, burgundy silk whippings with intermediates, the rod is nice and straight with a tight ferrule joint and presents very well overall. A few sections have been re-whipped at some point, with the work carried out to a nice standard.

The Perfection is one of Hardy's established Palakona trout fly rod models and the 8'6" length makes this a particularly appealing traditional fishing rod. This is a very good user rod for somebody wanting to actually fish with a classic Hardy cane rod, while still retaining plenty of vintage Hardy appeal.

Complete with a Hardy rod bag. Please study all of the photographs carefully as they show the exact condition of the cane, original matt finish, ferrule, handle, rings, whippings and rod bag.
