SALE IS FOR AN OLD BAMBOO FISHING ROD THAT I BOUGHT SOME TIME AGO WHICH WAS INSIDE A HARDY,S OF ALNWICK ROD BAG.

ROD NEEDS SOME ATTENTION AS IT HAS AN EYE MISSING. PLUS OTHER EYES HAVE LOOSE WHIPPING.
THE ORIGINAL BRASS REEL SEAT LOOKS LIKE IT HAS BEEN REPLACED AND I AM GUESSING THAT IF IT WAS A HARDY,S ROD IT WOULD HAVE HAD THE MAKERS NAME ON THE ORIGINAL REEL SEAT.
THE HANDLE LOOKS LIKE IT HAS HAD THE WRAPPING REPLACED.
THERE IS NO MAKERS MARK ON THE ROD.
FOR THAT REASON I CANNOT CLAIM IT IS A HARDY,S ROD.
THE ROD BAG IS MARKED HARDY,S ALNWICK ENGLAND BUT IT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS MADE FOR A MUCH LONGER ROD.
IT HAS A FEW USAGE / RUST MARKS AND WOULD PROBABLY COME UP NICE I PUT IN A WASHING MACHINE.
