About this rod
A scarce Milbro (Scotland) 'Mitchell' F.64 split cane spinning/coarse fishing rod. Two piece ~8ft 2in. The rod was branded as the "Milbro Mitchell" to explicitly market it to the thousands of UK anglers who were buying newly imported Mitchell 300 fixed-spool reels. The rod's reel seat and guide spacing were specifically engineered to accommodate the foot and line-flow of a Mitchell reel. Traditionaly used as a light/medium spinning rod and as a carp stalking rod. Sections fit together snuggly. Very slight downward set in the top section. Clean double cork handle with down locking reel seat. Agate lined tip guide. The rod is in superb condition, as seen in the pictures. Decal is nice and clear, wraps are vibrant and sound. Comes with the original Milbro slip bag.
